Community to Benefit from Water Initiative

ALine East, Merredin Shire Council and the Department of Agriculture have struck a major coup for the supply and sale of road construction water.

The deal involves the provision of both fresh and saline water. Fresh water comes from one of the Shire’s dams and saline water will be pumped from town bores installed as part of the Rural Towns Liquid Assets project.  The community benefits...
