250,000 Plants for Roadside Revegetation

ALine East will plant over 250,000 plants for various landscaping treatments from Hines Hill to Walgoolan. Seeds, collected from within the project area, have been propagated at nurseries in Meckering and Tammin.

Revegetation ultimately provides fauna habitat, reduces erosion, prevents weeds and provides visual amenity.

Species have been selected according to demonstrated rehabilitation success for soil type and topography. Consideration was also given for visual amenity or to complement natural remnant vegetation...
