ALine East is a multi-million dollar road construction initiative, funded by the Commonwealth Government under the Auslink Investment Program, designed to deliver vital improvements to road transport infrastructure in the wheatbelt region of Western Australia.

The project is being undertaken by an innovative partnership between the WA State Government and private enterprise. Known as the ALine East Alliance, the consortium includes representatives from Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA), Brierty Contractors, BG&E and WML Consultants.

Over the next two years, work will focus on upgrading the safety and efficiency of Great Eastern Highway, through the Shires of Merredin and Kellerberrin. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2007.
